John Gonitzke - CEO
Beginning in 1967, John traveled extensively across the country striping highways and airports before settling in Billings, MT in 1976. John’s new company, Mark Rite Lines of Montana grew to become one of the largest road striping Companies in the US. Since the beginning, Mark Rite sought to improve it’s striping operations through innovative technical advances proven on it’s own equipment, eventually building quality manufactured, highly productive equipment for other road marking contractors. John’s many Industry leading innovations in application and removal technology are the result of his extensive experience coupled with his formidable persistence that there is always a better way. Today, MRL is solely focused on manufacturing our unique production oriented designs.
Jim Spielman - President and General Manager
Beginning in 1974, Jim also traveled extensively operating and maintaining many types of pavement marking application and removal equipment while striping highways and airports in over 20 states. Jim continued to travel throughout the US in a sales and technical service role for two southern based pavement marking material and application equipment manufacturers before joining John in 1989 to organize the Equipment Manufacturing operations of MRL. Jim’s substantial “hands-on” field experience has assisted MRL to insure that even the most demanding customer’s expectations are satisfied.
Steve Shinners - Vice President - Sales and Marketing
Steve joined MRL in 2003 after 25 years with an eastern based manufacturer of road marking materials and equipment. Steve held various sales and marketing positions and as GM of the equipment and coatings groups. This unique background allowed him to work with hundreds of professional road marking contractors and meet with key decision makers in government agencies across the US. He understands the challenges faced by road marking professionals in our industry, as they continue to improve their bottom line while providing our customers, the driving public, safer, brighter and more durable pavement markings. Steve and the rest of the MRL sales and marketing group, look forward partnering with you on your next road marking equipment requirement.
