Leadership Rooted in Expertise

At the heart of HighMark’s success is Jonathan Gonitzke, a striping industry veteran with over 35 years of hands-on experience. Jonathan began his journey in 1990 with Mark Rite Lines of Montana, operating and maintaining a wide range of pavement marking and removal equipment across more than 10 states.

His deep operational knowledge led to his promotion in 1999 as General Manager of MRL’s pavement marking division, overseeing large-scale operations across the Northwest and Midwest.

In 2005, Jonathan launched HighMark Traffic Services, providing high-volume epoxy, paint, and line removal services throughout the region. In 2012, MRL acquired HighMark, making it a wholly owned subsidiary, an acquisition that brought Jonathan's invaluable expertise permanently back under the MRL banner.

Jonathan’s lifelong passion for striping and equipment, dating back to his early childhood, makes him a cornerstone of MRL’s continued innovation. His comprehensive knowledge of both application and manufacturing ensures our equipment meets the demands of today’s professionals.
